Senior Financial Analyst (Entertainment)

Location: New York, United States. Hybrid schedule requiring work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial outlook processes.
• Analyze financial metrics, variances, trends, and large data sets for executive-level reporting.
• Perform monthly close activities, including allocations, accruals, and company-wide cross charges.
• Maintain accurate financial, headcount, purchase order, and performance reporting.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Technology Finance, and cross-functional teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
• Improve financial processes, reporting, documentation, and ad hoc analysis supporting business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least two years of finance experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including financial modeling and large-data-set analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using Copilot or similar productivity tools.
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work from the New York office at least four days per week under the current hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Entertainment, Media, or Technology industry.
• Knowledge of SAP or Essbase.
• Experience driving continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
