What you will do

• Convert UI/UX mock-ups and wireframes into responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement UI components, styles, and interactions for intuitive user interfaces.
• Optimize applications for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, performance, and faster load times.
• Maintain existing codebases, fix bugs, and improve user experiences.
• Integrate frontend components with server-side logic, databases, and APIs alongside backend developers.
• Participate in testing and debugging to deliver high-quality web applications.

Requirements

• SkillBridge eligibility: at least 180 continuous days of active service and 180 or fewer days remaining before discharge.
• Approval from the unit commander is required, and participation may be terminated if mission requirements dictate.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with basic familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Ability to create responsive layouts and solve coding and implementation challenges.
• Collaborative communication, attention to detail, and effective time management.
• Applicants must be eligible for a government security investigation and access to classified information.

Nice to have

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Relevant practical experience or self-directed learning in frontend development.
