Command Translator (Hebrew)

Location: Israel (remote listed in the conditions; the position is physically located in Israel and includes office, base camp, travel, and field duties)

What you will do

• Provide consecutive and simultaneous Hebrew-English interpretation during meetings, conferences, negotiations, ceremonies, military exercises, and official events.
• Translate written and spoken communications, including contracts, laws, technical and scientific agreements, training manuals, court documents, presentations, and official correspondence.
• Transcribe and analyze audio, video, verbal, and written communications while preserving the original meaning and intent.
• Review foreign documents for authenticity and provide input for reports involving military, intelligence, legal, medical, and government subjects.
• Act as a liaison between U.S. Air Force Command, Israeli Command, government authorities, law enforcement, intelligence agencies, hospitals, and other institutions.
• Support base tours, VIP presentations, community events, convoy missions, and travel accompanying the U.S. Wing Commanding Officer.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak and write Hebrew.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a current Secret Clearance.
• Must be CAC eligible or able to obtain a Common Access Card.
• At least two years of experience in transcription, translation, and interpretation.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
