WordsOnline Onboarding Lead (Localization)

Location: Žilina, Slovakia; hybrid workplace with remote flexibility

What you will do

• Coordinate the onboarding of new and existing customer accounts into WordsOnline, aligning requirements, owners, dependencies, and timelines.
• Analyze content types, service levels, linguistic assets, languages, workflows, and customer-specific onboarding needs.
• Track contributors and dependencies, communicate progress and risks, and coordinate dry runs, pilot launches, and project kickoffs.
• Partner with Technical Onboarding, Project Managers, Account Quality Managers, Production, and platform stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare reporting and analysis on progress, recurring challenges, improvement opportunities, and potential onboarding candidates.
• Recommend process and workflow improvements and share operational knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, customer onboarding, localization operations, language services, or a related field.
• Full professional proficiency in English, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to manage routine and non-routine work independently, make sound decisions, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work across disciplines, cultures, and time zones while adapting to changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in localization, translation, or language services.
• Hands-on experience with CAT tools, translation management systems, or cloud-based localization platforms.
• Experience coordinating pilot projects, dry runs, or cross-functional operational launches.
• Experience with process improvement, workflow documentation, or knowledge sharing.
• Multilingual background or substantial experience collaborating across regions and time zones.
