Project Manager (Life Sciences)

Location: Bad Kreuznach, Germany; on-site. Periodic travel is required for projects and project-related events.

What you will do

• Lead multiple technical projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business objectives.
• Develop project plans, milestones, resource requirements, budgets, risk registers, and action trackers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and product management.
• Act as the local coordination liaison for technical teams, translating priorities into actions, owners, deliverables, and execution plans.
• Facilitate project reviews, decision-making, structured problem-solving, and issue escalation.
• Report progress, dependencies, risks, and resource needs while improving project-management practices and technical workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, life sciences, chemistry, bioprocessing, biotechnology, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience managing technical, R&D, product development, engineering, or operational improvement projects in a cross-functional matrix organization.
• Knowledge of project planning, resource management, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to guide teams, facilitate decisions, resolve roadblocks, and drive completion without direct reporting authority.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German-language capability are required.
• The role must be performed on-site in Bad Kreuznach, Germany.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hirify.global Business System tools, Visual Project Management, Problem Solving Process, and the Project Life Cycle.
• PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent project-management certification.
• Experience with new product introduction, stage-gate product development, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with quality-management systems such as Veeva or Magic.
