Full Stack Java Developer (AWS)

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, test, and support mission-critical external-facing training applications for lenders and trainers in the capital markets industry.
• Build user-facing Angular components and support Java backend services, integrations, workflows, and data processing.
• Create and maintain automated tests across frontend and backend layers, validating user stories end to end.
• Participate in GitHub branching, pull requests, code reviews, and agile collaboration.
• Support AWS deployments, cloud optimization, scalability, reliability, and production troubleshooting.
• Provide production support for a high-impact capital markets application and use GitHub Copilot when appropriate.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development.
• Proficiency with Angular and frontend application development.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services and environments.
• Experience supporting external-facing web applications and business-critical systems.
• Experience with automated testing across UI and backend applications, user-story validation, and full-stack troubleshooting.
• Experience with GitHub, branching, pull requests, code reviews, agile teamwork, and a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.

• Capital markets experience.
• GitHub Copilot experience.
