Full Stack Developer (ETL, Java, Python, Bash Shell)

Location: Onsite at the customer site in Springfield, Virginia, United States

Salary: $125,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and integrate server-side and client-side applications for a government ML/AI RDT&E program.
• Integrate multiple machine learning applications into a single-fused solution.
• Develop and troubleshoot ETL solutions, real-time data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and APIs.
• Design and maintain resilient, high-traffic microservices with distributed tracing and system monitoring.
• Enhance existing applications using efficient technical approaches within resource and time constraints.
• Co-lead product direction and feature specifications with stakeholders and the Program Manager.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 3–10+ years of experience developing, integrating, and troubleshooting software applications for ETL solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Node, JavaScript, Java, Linux, and Bash, Sed, and Awk scripting.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and in-memory databases, including PostgreSQL, Elastic, and Redis.
• Experience with AWS, Kafka Streaming, OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Rancher, OpenShift, and DevSecOps tools.

Nice to have

• Data science, machine learning, GIS, RDF graph databases, Oracle Converged Database, or Palantir Foundry experience.
• Experience with React, Ansible, Airflow, Django, Elasticsearch, Kibana, PostgreSQL, Azure, or Oracle cloud technologies.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise-level systems.
