Outreach Specialist II

Location: Hybrid position in Getzville, New York, United States

Salary: $18.68–$31.14 per hour

What you will do

• Contact consumer borrowers with past-due loans through inbound, outbound, manual, and AutoDial calls.
• Assess borrowers’ ability to repay and arrange repayment plans, loan workouts, or other assistance options.
• Refer customers to appropriate departments through warm transfers and handle loan-related inquiries.
• Research high-risk loans, review financial statements and loan-opening documents, and assess recovery likelihood.
• Use collections and accounting systems to maintain accounts, process corrections, and resolve problematic situations.
• Document call outcomes accurately, escalate complex issues, and follow operational risk and regulatory controls.

Requirements

• At least two combined years of higher education and/or work experience, including one year of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet software.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and contribute as a team player.
• Compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and internal control standards.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree.
• Collections experience.
• Knowledge of M&T systems.
