Legal Counsel (TMT)

What you will do

• Oversee commercial legal matters across the UAE businesses and wider group.
• Draft, review, negotiate, administer, and track commercial contracts and agreements.
• Advise on contractual rights, obligations, compliance, transactions, and legal risks.
• Support technology, media, telecommunications, intellectual property, data privacy, software, and IT matters.
• Develop legal policies, research notes, reports, and processes for commercial legal work.
• Collaborate with internal departments and represent the business in legal proceedings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent certification in England and Wales, Australia, South Africa, or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• Training at an international law firm in one or more of the specified jurisdictions.
• 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in an international law firm or multinational organisation.
• Commercial law experience with exposure to TMT matters, including data privacy, media, software, IT, and intellectual property.
• Excellent drafting, communication, commercial, organisational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
