Senior Solutions Developer - Business Intelligence and Analytics (ServiceNow)

What you will do

• Design and implement ServiceNow Platform Analytics solutions, including custom reports, visualizations, interactive dashboards, performance indicators, breakdowns, targets, and widgets.
• Create and maintain scripts, database views, report sources, and other technical components supporting analytics dashboards.
• Collaborate with business partners and technology teams to gather, document, and translate requirements into structured implementations.
• Maintain ServiceNow Platform Analytics governance, policies, procedures, and training for technical staff and management.
• Ensure CMDB data accuracy and completeness, identify root causes of errors, and support solutions with engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across CMDB and related processes while supporting internal controls, audits, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of combined higher education and/or professional experience in systems design, management, or architecture.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in technical engineering involving infrastructure design, data management, system design, or complex application development.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow development techniques and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB concepts and processes, including Discovery, HAM/SAM, ITIL, and automation technologies.
• Experience with data modeling, metrics, KPIs/KRIs, and data visualization principles.
• Advanced technical, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity with agile principles.
• Experience with other business intelligence tools.
• Completed ServiceNow training in System Administration, Platform Analytics, Discovery, HAM, or SAM.
