Maintenance Operations Leader (Warehouse Automation)

Location: Atlanta, United States; on-site role with responsibility for customer sites across the United States and Canada. Approximately 50% travel is required.

What you will do

• Lead maintenance teams, site leaders, and technicians across approximately 14 customer sites.
• Balance workloads, allocate resources, and establish consistent maintenance practices across North America.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Engineering and Deployment teams to improve service delivery, reliability, and transitions at newly commissioned sites.
• Manage vendors, service providers, spare-parts strategies, equipment suppliers, and escalation processes.
• Ensure EHS compliance, safe working practices, continuous improvement, and effective coordination between customers, hirify.global teams, and third-party providers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in highly automated industrial environments.
• Experience supporting automated distribution, logistics, fulfillment, or e-commerce systems across multiple sites.
• Experience leading internal maintenance teams and third-party service providers, including coaching and technical team development.
• Experience managing multi-vendor automation environments involving conveyor, sortation, pallet transport, packaging, Warehouse Control Systems, or integrated material handling solutions.
• Professional English proficiency and availability to travel approximately 50% are required.
• Strong escalation management, governance, operational discipline, and supplier relationship skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in warehouse automation integration or as part of a highly automated logistics operator.
• Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend escalation support.
