Head of Product (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, US, or remote. Relocation support is available for Helsinki or London.

Salary: $200,000–$300,000+ base salary per annum, depending on experience, plus equity.

What you will do

• Set measurable product goals and connect company strategy to team roadmaps.
• Use customer conversations, usage data, support feedback, and competitive research to guide priorities.
• Evaluate target users, demand, differentiation, pricing, packaging, and business opportunities.
• Build and lead the product team while shaping product management practices.
• Coordinate with engineering on scope, sequencing, dependencies, trade-offs, risks, and delivery outcomes.
• Improve the customer journey across discovery, workload deployment, access management, failure handling, and spend control.

Requirements

• Direct product experience with an inference or AI developer platform, GPU cloud, or AI training infrastructure.
• Data-driven product management experience with measurable success metrics.
• Experience connecting platform strategy to customer problems and making difficult prioritisation decisions.
• Experience building or leading a product team in an organisation developing its product management function.
• Strong execution, writing, listening, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and agentic workflows, including how agents use cloud platforms.

Nice to have

• Engineering or technical founding background.
• Experience improving a self-service developer product from first use through paid adoption and expansion.
