Senior Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; Central Time Zone work hours required, with flexibility for other time zones. Occasional travel is required for conferences, in-person collaboration, and team meetings.

Salary: $140,000–$165,000 annually, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Own the product lifecycle and integrated roadmap for the Implementation Dashboard, Professional Learning Partner Guide, and AI Evaluator.
• Research state and local education agencies and professional learning providers to identify customer needs and validate product solutions.
• Translate customer and market problems into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, user flows, wireframes, and interface copy.
• Coordinate external development and design vendors, prioritize releases, manage dependencies, and conduct acceptance testing.
• Partner with technical experts on architecture, data sharing and storage, privacy, compliance, accessibility, and AI reliability.
• Track adoption, renewals, review throughput, efficiency, operating costs, profitability, and other product health metrics.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of software product management experience, including taking at least one product from definition through launch and subsequent iterations.
• Experience leading outsourced or vendor-built product development and holding external partners accountable for quality and delivery.
• Technical fluency with API specifications, data models, architectural decisions, and development estimates.
• Working knowledge of the United States K-12 education market, including how education agencies budget, purchase, and adopt products.
• Experience engaging customer stakeholders, defining meaningful metrics, building performance dashboards, and developing subscription or credentialing pricing.
• Experience using AI for operational workflows or features involving human review, with sound judgment about model reliability.

• Experience working in an organization with fewer than 20 people.
• Experience independently managing responsibilities without dedicated specialist support.
