Principal Product Manager - AI Solutions

Location: Remote USA

Base salary: $189,600–$246,400 per year, with potential eligibility for a bonus plan, sales commission or equity grants.

What you will do

• Create and deliver AI-first product capabilities from ambiguous problem definition through discovery, launch, iteration, and scaled releases.
• Own multi-quarter roadmaps and align engineering, UX, tax subject matter experts, go-to-market, and customer success.
• Define AI product requirements covering data strategy, learning signals, feedback loops, evaluation criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Prototype, evaluate, tune, and operationalize LLM-based solutions, agents, and data pipeline capabilities.
• Set standards and monitoring for AI quality, reliability, usage, cost, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Apply responsible AI principles, including traceability, privacy, security, bias awareness, transparency, and auditability.

Requirements

• At least six years of relevant product management experience, including ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives and multi-quarter roadmaps.
• At least two years of direct AI experience, such as AI system design or development.
• Strong understanding of AI product quality, reliability, drift, regressions, performance tradeoffs, and user trust.
• Ability to prototype and evaluate AI capabilities and translate technical constraints into product requirements, UX behaviors, acceptance criteria, and release decisions.
• Strong systems thinking, executive communication, and influence leadership in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience driving cross-product innovation through APIs, integrations, and shared platform capabilities.
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior product owners on AI fluency and product development practices.
