Summer 2027 Intern - Property & Casualty Claims - Bloomington, IL

Location: Hybrid work at U.S. hub locations in Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; Dunwoody, GA; or Bloomington, IL. Interns should work from home and in the office. The internship runs from June 2, 2027, through August 11, 2027, Monday through Friday, 38.75 hours per week. Relocation benefits do not apply.

Pay: $24.00/hour. A $2,000 stipend may also be available to selected interns.

What you will do

• Learn claims investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and policy application.
• Handle exposure to medical, property, liability, and injury claims alongside experienced claims teams.
• Collaborate with agents, insurers, and repair shops.
• Develop professional skills through mentorship and access to senior leadership.
• Participate in volunteer activities and community-focused initiatives.

Requirements

• Be a full-time student enrolled throughout the internship.
• Be entering the sophomore, junior, or senior year and graduating in December 2027, May 2028, or May 2029.
• Study Business, Risk Management/Insurance, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, sound decision-making, communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and customer focus.
• Be eligible to work lawfully in the United States immediately; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Be available for the full summer program with little to no disruption to the work schedule.
