Senior Precision Analog/Power Electronics Engineer

Base salary: $82,300–$245,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, specify, develop, simulate, lay out, verify, and test analog and power electronics.
• Develop architectures and circuits for power conversion, battery management, wireless power transfer, motor control, analog front ends, signal conditioning, and precision feedback systems.
• Optimize system designs for reduced size, weight, and power, and develop technical specifications for production.
• Analyze hardware configurations, test conformance to specifications, and support planning, deployment, and sustainment throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Verify custom SPICE models against component specifications and collaborate with part and model designers on modifications.
• Lead complex technical solutions, manage multidisciplinary tasks, support proposals, and communicate risks and status to project leadership and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, and SPICE or comparable circuit simulation tools.
• Experience with system modeling and analysis using MATLAB, Simulink, or comparable tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
