Tennis Operations Operator

Location: UK-based with extensive global travel to tennis events; on-site and tour-based, with up to 220 days per year away from home

What you will do

• Install, configure, calibrate, and dismantle cameras, cables, networking devices, and other Hawk-Eye hardware at tennis tournaments.
• Operate and monitor ball-tracking, data-delivery, video-review, and broadcast systems during live matches.
• Apply tracking theory and system knowledge to maintain accurate, high-quality output and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Coordinate with broadcasters, TV directors, match officials, tournament organisers, and other stakeholders.
• Complete pre-match and post-match operational processes, maintain equipment, and support reliable delivery across courts.
• Contribute to SMART Production, research and development, and operational improvements while supporting less experienced operators.

Requirements

• Technical grounding with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for innovation, willingness to learn, and ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Interest in tennis.
• Currently studying towards an undergraduate degree.
• Ability to work on-site, travel extensively, work weekends and midweek evenings, and operate in different time zones and challenging physical environments, including work at heights.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge of tracking systems, operational software, broadcast production, or live event delivery.
