Network & Infrastructure Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working model with regular travel to sites in Europe, the US, and Japan.

hirify.global is building an AI platform for autonomous driving that enables vehicles to learn from real-world experience and adapt across different environments and vehicle platforms.

What you will do

• Lead, hire, and develop a distributed network and infrastructure engineering team across sites and time zones.
• Own the roadmap, delivery priorities, vendor relationships, and multi-year network replacement programme.
• Build and operate local and wide area networks, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, certificate-based 802.1X access control, monitoring, and out-of-band management.
• Shape new sites end to end, including connectivity, audio-visual systems, meeting rooms, desk technology, and fit-out IT.
• Improve connectivity between sites and cloud platforms while converting manual infrastructure work into automation and infrastructure as code.
• Participate in on-call, own P1 escalations, and deliver network security controls and evidence for customer requirements and assessments.

Requirements

• Experience leading a network or infrastructure team, including hiring, performance management, and engineer development.
• Deep enterprise networking experience across local and wide area networks, wireless, firewalls, and certificate-based 802.1X.
• Experience with site infrastructure beyond networking, such as audio-visual systems, meeting rooms, fit-outs, or new-site builds.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, network automation, engineering standards, major incidents, and multi-site hardware programmes.
• Experience delivering network controls and evidence for TISAX, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or an equivalent security assessment.
• Availability for hybrid work in London and regular travel to sites in Europe, the US, and Japan, including on-call responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Juniper SRX and Mist, Azure or AWS hybrid connectivity, RADIUS, and certificate infrastructure.
• Experience with automotive supplier-security assessments.
