Lead AI Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully remote from Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Sweden, or Spain. Sustained working-hours overlap with the US or Western Europe is required.

What you will do

• Work with business stakeholders and domain experts to understand objectives, processes, constraints, and expected outcomes.
• Translate ambiguous business processes and tacit domain knowledge into structured, executable instructions for AI agents.
• Design, implement, test, maintain, and release reusable AI skills, including instructions, scripts, validation logic, reference data, and workflow components.
• Build evaluation systems with realistic scenarios, golden cases, acceptance criteria, and regression checks.
• Run user pilots, investigate incorrect agent behavior, fix root causes, and ship improved versions.
• Integrate solutions with client platforms and data sources while owning adoption, reliability, and measurable time savings.

Requirements

• Hands-on software engineering experience building, reviewing, testing, and maintaining production-quality solutions.
• Strong engineering foundation in a modern stack; TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and Angular are used in delivery, while Python, Java, and .NET backgrounds are welcome.
• Experience with version control, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, and real LLM-backed systems used by real users.
• Working knowledge of tool use, function calling, MCP, prompt engineering, context engineering, structured instruction design, and orchestration.
• Experience evaluating and improving non-deterministic systems with test sets and measurable acceptance criteria, plus sound judgment about when conventional software is preferable.
• English at C1 level and sustained working-hours overlap with the US or Western Europe are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude Code, Skills, plugins, MCP servers, promptfoo, LangSmith, or custom LLM evaluation harnesses.
• Consulting or professional services experience, including HR tech, compensation and benefits, payroll, or workforce analytics.
• Experience building internal developer tooling or platform capabilities.
• Public work such as open-source agent tooling, published skills or plugins, conference talks, or technical writing on agentic engineering.
