Senior AI Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: 100% remote in Europe or Asia; collaboration with Athens-based engineering and solution delivery teams.

What you will do

• Build and ship AI agents end-to-end, from scoping and prototyping through optimization and production rollout.
• Design reliability infrastructure including observability, logging, guardrails, evaluation pipelines, cost controls, and human-in-the-loop flows.
• Integrate agents with enterprise data stores, APIs, and line-of-business applications through connectors and retrieval pipelines.
• Review AI-generated code and system designs, ensuring maintainable architecture and strong engineering quality.
• Create evaluation datasets, define accuracy targets, analyze failure modes, and document technical decisions, designs, and runbooks.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to understand how systems are built, fail, and remain maintainable.
• Experience with LLM-based systems in production or near-production environments, including agents, RAG, automation, or orchestration.
• Product-minded approach focused on delivering working solutions for business needs.
• Strong architectural judgment, comfort with probabilistic AI outputs, evaluation-driven development, and iterative refinement.
• For the Senior Engineer level: typically 6–10+ years of experience, including 2+ years leading AI deliveries.
• Availability to work remotely from Europe or Asia and collaborate asynchronously with Athens-based teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks, vector or graph databases, Postgres, Redis, tracing or observability platforms, Azure, or ERP integrations.
• Equivalent experience with different tools and frameworks.

Hiring process
