SEO Site Manager, Cat.com (SEO/AI): Driving organic visibility, discoverability, and AI search readiness across the Cat.com experience with an accent on technical SEO, content optimization, site architecture, and search analytics. Focus on leading crawlability and indexation improvements, integrating SEO into enterprise digital initiatives, and translating performance data into strategic recommendations.
Location: Cat Digital Hubs in Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL, or Broomfield, CO, United States. Travel of up to 10% may be required. Relocation is not available.
Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year

What you will do
- Own the SEO strategy and roadmap for Cat.com to improve organic visibility, traffic, engagement, and business outcomes.
- Lead technical SEO initiatives covering site architecture, crawlability, indexation, schema, page performance, and search health.
- Optimize content for customer search intent, SEO best practices, and AI-powered search experiences.
- Monitor SEO performance, establish KPIs, analyze traffic and ranking trends, and communicate recommendations to leadership.
- Provide SEO governance and subject-matter expertise to product, content, engineering, analytics, and digital teams.
- Integrate SEO requirements into site enhancements, new experiences, content initiatives, and platform changes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, content strategy, or related disciplines.
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, content optimization, information architecture, and analytics.
- Experience with enterprise websites and large-scale content ecosystems.
- Experience with BrightEdge, Siteimprove, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar SEO platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
