Data Business Analyst (Data Platform)

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia or Gdańsk, Poland, with 2–3 days per week in the office

Salary: 800–944 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define outcomes, scope, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the design and evolution of a modern Data Platform and analytics solutions.
• Analyze data flows, business processes, system dependencies, and data quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional deliveries and dependencies across Data Engineers, Developers, Architects, and Product Owners.
• Support incident management, issue resolution, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Professional experience as an IT Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Data Analyst.
• Experience with complex business and technical requirements, data analysis, data quality, and data governance.
• Experience with data workflows, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of SQL, Hive, Big Data technologies, CI/CD concepts, and Agile frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work from the Gdynia or Gdańsk office 2–3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Apache Spark.
• Python.
• Solution design experience and the ability to read and write code.
• Experience with AI-supported workflow and pipeline implementation.
