Energy Engineering Co-op

Location: Worthington, Ohio, United States; office-based with travel to client sites in the Columbus, Ohio region

What you will do

• Support the development and implementation of energy efficiency projects.
• Analyze utility bills, calculate energy usage, benchmark performance, and prepare reports.
• Participate in facility audits and identify energy conservation opportunities.
• Support lighting, HVAC, controls, VFD, solar, CHP, and other renewable energy projects.
• Assist with controls installations, energy consulting, measurement and verification, utility incentives, grants, and energy program research.
• Provide technical support to engineering, sales, and operations teams and travel to local client sites as needed.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Interest or experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, HVAC, controls, lighting, or building systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local client sites are required.
