2027 Co-Op & Internship, Project Engineer (MedTech)

What you will do

• Design and develop spinal instruments and implants using Pro/E and Creo.
• Work with the in-house prototype shop and external vendors on rapid prototyping and product evaluation.
• Perform design verification and validation activities to ensure products meet specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, surgeons, vendors, marketing, and product managers on project development.
• Assist with project plans, Design History Files, forecasts, and market plans.
• Follow company, medical device industry, and applicable regulatory compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in biomedical, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
• Experience with Pro/E for design and drafting is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong self-starting, organizational, detail-orientation, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and periodic climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
