Tech Enablement Lead (IoT)

Location: Engineering Latam; remote work

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a Tech Enablement Engineer while owning intake, prioritization, roadmap, delivery commitments, and technical standards.
• Design and operate workflow automations, internal web and mobile tools, dashboards, services, and integrations that reduce manual work across B2B operations.
• Own the technical direction of Smart Fridges, including hardware, embedded Linux, locks, sensors, cameras, connectivity, and edge computer vision.
• Scale the device fleet through reproducible provisioning, remote deployment, staged releases, rollback, telemetry, fleet-health monitoring, and field support.
• Lead integrations with Salesforce, support tools, logistics services, healthcare partners, and other third-party systems.
• Establish security controls, incident response, documentation, operational playbooks, and practical AI applications for operations and engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Experience managing engineers through coaching, feedback, prioritization, and delivery accountability.
• Strong hands-on software engineering experience with backend services, integrations, and internal applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, plus SQL.
• Hands-on experience with physical devices, embedded Linux or comparable IoT software, including hardware, sensors, connectivity, operating-system services, and cloud systems.
• Experience scaling device fleets with reproducible provisioning, remote updates, staged releases, rollback, telemetry, security, and field support.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, scheduled jobs, third-party systems, cloud deployment, CI/CD, access management, monitoring, and incident response.
• Fluent English communication skills are required for written and spoken collaboration across teams and regions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Raspberry Pi, AWS IoT Greengrass, SSM, MQTT, camera pipelines, edge computer vision, hardware manufacturing, or device quality assurance.
• Experience with n8n, Salesforce, React, Next.js, Node.js, or cloud-deployed internal applications.
• Familiarity with healthcare operations or PHI-sensitive workflows, as well as customer support, marketing, or logistics APIs.
• Experience applying AI tools to operational workflows while evaluating quality, privacy, reliability, and business impact.
