Senior Power BI & Data Specialist

Location: Remote, with the role listed in Athens, Attica, Greece

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytical solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models and data processing solutions using Power BI, Power Query, Python, and SQL.
• Use Databricks and cloud-based analytics platforms to support scalable reporting and data-driven decision-making.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements, translating them into technical and analytical deliverables.
• Support intuitive user-facing reporting interfaces and the continuous improvement of data products and analytics services.
• Facilitate workshops and explain technical concepts to business and technical stakeholders in an international environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least six years of post-university experience in data management and software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, Power Query, dashboard and report development, and semantic models.
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Databricks, cloud-based analytics environments, containerized platforms, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with data integration, analytics platforms, data validation, reporting interfaces, and modern BI and data engineering practices.
• Fluent English at C1 level or higher is required, including the ability to facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in international, regulated, public-sector, or enterprise-scale analytics environments.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms, AI-assisted analytics, advanced reporting, or data-driven automation.
• Familiarity with data governance or data product management concepts.
