Cloud Developer (Apex/LWC)

What you will do

• Build a Salesforce Experience Cloud member portal with a 60-question self-assessment, save-and-resume functionality, transition plans, status tracking, and document uploads.
• Develop custom Apex rules for tier derivation and member readiness requirements.
• Implement deadline calculations based on changing member separation dates and ensure milestones recalculate correctly.
• Develop accessible portal functionality that meets Section 508 requirements.
• Build class-request workflows for members and approval workflows for counselors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant and Platform Developer I certifications.
• Experience building Experience Cloud sites with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript.
• Experience delivering Section 508 or WCAG accessibility for sites used by real users.
• Federal portal experience, including member-facing or citizen-facing Salesforce portals.
• Must be able to pass a US Government background check.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
