Senior Product Engineer (TypeScript)

What you will do

• Own product features end-to-end, from domain design and backend services to web and mobile interfaces and production observability.
• Build resilient, high-volume software with strong data consistency, fault tolerance, and operational reliability.
• Evolve distributed, event-driven architectures for benefits, payments, employee experiences, and HR administration.
• Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, including load and performance simulations for mission-critical workflows.
• Monitor production services, identify bottlenecks and anomalies, and improve system health using observability tools.
• Lead through code reviews, mentoring, engineering documentation, and daily use of AI coding assistants.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade applications as a full-stack engineer or across multiple application layers.
• Strong backend and frontend experience with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS or similar frameworks, React, and React Native.
• Deep understanding of race conditions, eventual consistency, idempotency, message brokers, and high-concurrency troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience with automated testing and a systematic approach to solving complex reliability problems.
• Ability to use AI tools for problem-solving, code generation, and workflow optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience with banking systems, payment gateways such as Stripe or Adyen, ledger systems, or reconciliation processes.
• Experience within the TypeScript ecosystem.
