Senior Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Barcelona or Madrid, Spain; on-site several days a week with a flexible hybrid schedule

Salary: €60,500–€85,800 gross annual

What you will do

• Act as a Founding Engineer in the new IT Management domain and own major product initiatives end to end.
• Build platforms for employee onboarding, permissions, support, equipment, inventory management, MDM, identity providers, and related workflows.
• Ship and evaluate AI-powered features, agentic workflows, and LLM-integrated systems in production.
• Establish goals and plan quarterly roadmaps with attention to the domain’s technical needs.
• Join customer calls, review code daily, and collaborate closely on product and technical decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and help teammates transition from deterministic to probabilistic product development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience and experience or strong interest in shipping AI-powered features.
• Professional experience with Ruby on Rails and React, plus the ability to integrate AI models into scalable cloud-native environments.
• Practical understanding of AI feature evaluation, reliability, user friction, agentic workflows, and LLM architecture trade-offs.
• Ability to make decisions with incomplete information, explain complex technical decisions clearly in English, and focus on measurable outcomes.
• Ability to work from the Barcelona or Madrid office several days per week is required.
