Senior Engagement Manager (Forward Deployed Engineering)

Location: Munich, Germany; travel to customers required 20% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead and scale the Forward Deployed Engineering motion across a business unit or region.
• Drive adoption and expansion of standard and customized engineering and training offerings from discovery through closing.
• Integrate services into platform deals and help customers achieve measurable business outcomes.
• Bridge technical and commercial discussions by contributing to architecture, solution scoping, and implementation planning.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Field Engineering, systems integrators, regional systems integrators, and cloud providers on account strategies and integrated services.
• Coach and mentor junior Engagement Managers while promoting best practices.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in customer-facing consulting, solutioning, executive engagement, and architecture discussions.
• Extensive Professional Services sales and delivery leadership experience, ideally in Data and AI.
• Strong technical knowledge of data and AI platforms, preferably Databricks, with the ability to scope services engagements.
• Deep industry expertise and the ability to connect customer use cases with business outcomes.
• Strong program management, communication, influencing, negotiation, and cross-functional delivery skills.
• Ability to work in Munich, Germany and travel to customers 20% of the time.
