C/C++ System Engineer (Banking)

Location: Hybrid role in Warsaw or Łódź, Poland; 75% remote

Rate: up to 150 PLN/hour net + VAT

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain C and C++ microservices supporting credit risk, recommendation, and credit scoring products.
• Build APIs and calculation engines that comply with credit scoring and recommendation regulations across multiple countries.
• Develop integrations with credit authorities and support complex business processes.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through coding, testing, and deployment.
• Work in an agile Scrum team and collaborate with business analysts to turn requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency and in-depth knowledge of C and C++.
• Strong debugging skills and good knowledge of mapping, code flow, and XML.
• Understanding of unit, component, integration, and system testing.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Visual Studio, package building, and creating executable files.
• Fluent Polish and English; work location in Warsaw or Łódź is required. Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot.
