Senior C++ Developer (Electronic Trading)

Location: Georgia, Poland, Portugal, Cyprus, or Spain; remote or hybrid work setup available. Relocation assistance is available for Poland or Cyprus.

hirify.global builds technology for a large-scale, distributed, real-time electronic trading platform for corporate bonds.

What you will do

• Enhance and maintain the core list-management service supporting corporate bond trading.
• Own the lifecycle of trade negotiation and execution across multiple trading protocols.
• Build integration services connecting the platform with internal and external trading systems.
• Develop C++20 services across Linux and Windows within a microservices architecture using FlatBuffers and Protobuf.
• Contribute across design, development, testing, production support, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA, and support teams to deliver solutions and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial C++ development for production services; C++20 preferred, with strong C++17 experience accepted.
• Strong modern C++ knowledge, including STL, templates, generic programming, RAII, object lifetimes, design patterns, and concurrency.
• Experience building, debugging, and profiling Linux services in production.
• Experience with microservices or service integrations in distributed systems, relational databases, and SQL.
• Commitment to automated testing, Git-based code reviews, maintainable design, and effective cross-functional communication.
• Experience with electronic trading, order-management workflows, or fixed-income markets.

Nice to have

• Background in low-latency or high-throughput systems, network protocols, or pub/sub architectures.
• Familiarity with Protobuf, FlatBuffers, Redis, or similar infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with Python, shell scripting, CMake, Conan, or AI-assisted development tools.
