C++ Developer (NAS Backup)

Location: Warsaw, Poland. Remote work is possible only when the employee is located in Poland; applications from candidates permanently outside Poland may not be considered.

What you will do

• Develop high-performance, cross-platform backup software for Windows and Linux within a universal hybrid-cloud platform.
• Build the C++ core engine and contribute to Go development for file storage system backups.
• Design algorithms addressing performance, scalability, security, fault tolerance, upgrades, and maintainability.
• Develop multithreaded data-processing applications for compression, encryption, and transfer of large data volumes within limited backup windows.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues by analyzing logs, process dumps, and network traffic captures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of C++17 and STL.
• Knowledge of multithreading, algorithms, and data structures.
• Knowledge and practical experience with object-oriented programming principles.
• For remote work, permanent location in Poland is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
