System Engineer C/C++

Location: Łódź, Poland; hybrid work with 2–3 days per week from the office

Salary: 1,000–1,200 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Develop and maintain C/C++ applications and microservices.
• Build REST APIs and calculation engines for credit scoring and risk solutions.
• Integrate systems with external credit authorities and process complex financial data.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve technical issues while ensuring code quality and performance.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts on requirements and solution design.
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to Agile Scrum ceremonies.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with C and C++.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of XML, mapping, and code flow analysis.
• Understanding of unit, integration, and system testing.
• Knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Visual Studio, package building, executable creation, GitHub Copilot, and good English communication skills.
