Planner (Project Planning)

Location: Newcastle - Grey Street, United Kingdom. Full-time position for candidates with the right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, and other planning tools.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to collect progress data and update forecasts.
• Identify critical paths, project risks, and mitigation options.
• Prepare progress and performance reports with the Senior Planner for senior management.
• Contribute to earned value management and SPI/CPI performance tracking.
• Support compliance with internal project governance and safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in planning or scheduling major capital projects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Excel-based analytics.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and independently with strong attention to detail.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Primavera P6; training is available where required.
• Exposure to industrial or high-technology construction environments.
• Knowledge of earned value management and digital planning tools.
