Test & Qualification Engineer (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Nantes, France; onsite role

Company

Global semiconductor and embedded-systems company developing electronic technologies for critical applications, including aerospace and defense.

What you will do

• Participate in the qualification and production release of new electronic components.
• Develop test boards for final, reliability, and radiation testing.
• Analyze test data, investigate product failures, identify root causes, and propose improvements.
• Optimize test performance, product quality, and production yields.
• Collaborate with R&D, product, and manufacturing teams on new-product projects.
• Qualify test equipment and write or improve technical procedures and specifications.

Requirements

• Engineering or Master’s degree in electronics, physical measurements, or an equivalent field.
• Recent graduates are welcome; internal training is provided.
• Interest in electronics, embedded technologies, semiconductors, and advanced industrial environments.
• Analytical mindset, technical curiosity, problem-solving skills, autonomy, and initiative.
• Ability to collaborate with multicultural teams in an international environment.
• Professional written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in aerospace, space technologies, reliability, qualification, or radiation testing.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
