Data Operations Analyst

Location: Hybrid in Madrid, Spain; candidates must be based in Madrid

Salary: EUR 22,300–25,200 gross per year

What you will do

• Execute Stat Ops processes and support sample data operations for the assigned market.
• Monitor data quality indicators and investigate unusual patterns, discrepancies, and deviations.
• Perform data quality reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Resolve data-related queries with Client Operations and Data Operations teams.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Data Science, and local Operations teams on operational initiatives.
• Document findings, process updates, and recommendations while supporting process harmonization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical field; final-year students may also be considered.
• Experience handling, manipulating, and analyzing data.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
• Fluent English and fluent Spanish or Portuguese; based in Madrid.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with Python and/or R.
• Experience executing research or analytics projects and translating findings into operational or business solutions.
• Experience managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
