Swap Station Operation & Maintenance Manager (EV)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Company

A joint venture is developing an end-to-end electric two-wheeler mobility solution for Vietnam's energy transition, supported by an integrated digital ecosystem.

What you will do

• Lead in-house operation and repair teams, daily station operations, anomaly tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Establish preventive and corrective maintenance programs, including prioritization, response, quality verification, and closeout.
• Define operational, SLA, and audit standards while monitoring network availability, station condition, and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate technical incident assessment, immediate response, root-cause analysis, reporting, and escalation.
• Manage third-party engineers and contractors, and coordinate commissioning, operational readiness, handover, and post-launch stabilization.
• Develop SOPs, support annual planning, and identify technically feasible CAPEX/OPEX improvements with Finance and Procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in operations management, project management, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of electromechanical maintenance and practical experience managing local vendors and contractors.
• Strong planning, organization, cross-cultural collaboration, communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Vietnamese and professional English communication skills are required.
• Work must be performed onsite in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Nice to have

• Experience in electric vehicles, battery-swapping or charging infrastructure, telecom tower operations, or fleet management.
• Experience setting up operations teams or SOPs from 0-to-1, or working in cross-border joint ventures.
• Knowledge of Vietnamese permitting processes and an established local contractor network.
• Professional proficiency or fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification.
