EHS Engineer

Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam; full-time, on-site position

What you will do

• Implement environmental, health, and safety policies and ensure compliance with Vietnam’s environmental protection law and environmental licensing requirements.
• Maintain and improve the ISO 14001 management system, including aspect and impact assessments, objectives, and internal and external audits.
• Develop chemical management procedures covering safety data sheets, inventory, storage, and spill response.
• Prepare emergency response plans for chemical spills, wastewater failures, and hazardous waste leaks; organize and evaluate periodic drills.
• Lead on-site incident investigations, including root-cause analysis, impact assessment, regulatory reporting, and corrective-action tracking.
• Coordinate occupational health checks, deliver EHS training, manage regulatory and corporate reporting, and represent the site with authorities, auditors, and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, mechanical, chemical, environmental, occupational health, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar EHS role.
• Good knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese EHS regulations and standards, with experience working with local authorities.
• Fluent Vietnamese and English, written and spoken.
• Independent, proactive, results-oriented approach with strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of RBA, fire safety, occupational hygiene, and electrical safety.
