Manager - Financial Advisory Services (OCFO-Advisory)

Salary: $66,000–$182,200 per year

What you will do

• Deliver projects across US GAAP advisory, business analytics and decision support, financial accounting advisory, transaction support, finance transformation, and program/project management.
• Improve financial reporting processes, internal controls, accounting operations, and finance functions for middle-market financial institutions and companies.
• Supervise, develop, train, and mentor staff while actively contributing to engagement delivery.
• Manage client and engagement relationships with senior managers, partners, business owners, executives, investors, and lenders.
• Strengthen existing client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and identify additional services that add value for clients.
• Support recruiting, professional development, profitability, billing, collections, utilization, risk management, and inclusive team culture initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a large accounting firm in audit or a financial advisory service line within the financial services industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Current knowledge and practical application of US GAAP and/or IFRS advisory requirements.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance concepts and the ability to use appropriate tools and applications for analysis.
• Exposure to middle-market financial applications such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Intacct, including functionality, workflows, automated controls, data consolidation, reporting, and analytics.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills, with experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and generating data-driven insights.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, including presenting analyses to management and leading initiatives.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, manage shifting priorities, and work effectively with client personnel at all levels.
• Ability to interact comfortably with senior client personnel and support executive briefings.
• High motivation, initiative, positive attitude, curiosity, relationship-building ability, negotiation skills, and the ability to solve complex issues creatively.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
