Product Design Student Intern, Summer 2027 (Remote)

Location: United States; remote work with some required travel to New York City. Candidates based in New York City may work onsite in the New York office.

hirify.global is a sports news media company developing informative coverage and digital products for sports audiences worldwide.

What you will do

• Ideate with product managers on design solutions for business problems and product goals.
• Develop designs and prototypes at different levels of fidelity to communicate user experiences.
• Work with the research team as needed and create detailed deliverables for engineering handoff.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are built to specification and address edge cases.
• Participate in product design meetings and design critiques.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or postgraduate student; undergraduate juniors and seniors are especially encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work 30–40 hours per week during the 12-week internship from June to August 2027.
• Experience designing and working in Figma.
• Portfolio with at least five relevant Web and App Product Design samples.
• Deep knowledge of and passion for sports, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Remote work requires some travel to New York City; New York City-based candidates may work onsite.

Nice to have

• Previous design internship experience.
• Experience working with Claude Code.
