Product Design Intern, 2027 Summer U.S.

Location: United States; remote work in the Pacific Time Zone (PT) required

Salary: $41–$56 per hour, depending on the U.S. geographic pay zone

hirify.global develops collaboration software, including Jira and Confluence, and is building AI-first experiences for teams worldwide.

What you will do

• Design simple, accessible product experiences across hirify.global products using interaction, visual, and systems-design skills.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and senior designers to understand customer needs and technical constraints.
• Use research insights, product data, technical prototyping, and usability testing to explore and refine design ideas.
• Contribute to design systems, reusable patterns, and design documentation.
• Explore how AI and connected teamwork shape modern collaboration experiences.

Requirements

• Available for a 12-week, full-time, 40-hour-per-week internship during Summer 2027.
• Currently enrolled full-time in a four-year bachelor’s or two-year master’s degree program and returning after the internship.
• Expected graduation by June 2028.
• Entry-level candidates only, with less than one year of professional experience, excluding internships and co-ops.
• Experience with user-focused design and collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers.

• Ability to plan and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
