Supervisor-Production (Wafer Fab)

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts, United States; fully onsite, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Remote work is not available.

Annual base salary: $46,000–$128,000 USD, plus restricted stock units, quarterly bonuses, health benefits, retirement savings, and ESPP.

What you will do

• Lead daily wafer-fabrication shift operations and coordinate production technicians and operators.
• Manage staffing, attendance, cross-training, assignments, and shift priorities to meet production schedules.
• Monitor manufacturing performance, including output, yield, scrap, cycle time, moves, and on-time delivery.
• Respond to equipment, tooling, process, safety, quality, and production interruptions in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, process controls, safety requirements, cleanroom protocols, and quality standards.
• Promote Lean manufacturing practices and champion Kaizen events.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, or a related manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, production flows, safety, quality, and process-control requirements.
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems or production tracking systems, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency or experience with VBA, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be a US citizen, permanent US resident, or protected individual under US export-control regulations. The position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, diffusion, wet processing, or metrology.
• Experience working in a semiconductor cleanroom or fab environment.
