Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in San Francisco, United States

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global is an ambitious healthcare startup building an AI-native platform that enables family caregivers to deliver high-quality care at home while helping health plans and government partners understand and improve home-based care.

What you will do

• Lead complex product initiatives from problem framing and discovery through user journey mapping, prototyping, and production delivery.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and leadership to shape the roadmap, translate business goals into design solutions, and define success metrics.
• Plan and conduct research with family caregivers and use qualitative feedback, behavioral data, usability testing, and experimentation to guide design decisions.
• Build and evolve enterprise-grade design systems, component libraries, and information architecture across platforms.
• Prepare detailed specifications, address edge cases, and collaborate with engineers on feasible, high-quality implementation.
• Mentor designers, lead critiques, improve design workflows, and create adaptive AI-driven experiences for caregivers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive product design experience and a record of shipping impactful digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual UI craft, complex problem-solving, and an end-to-end design process.
• Experience building or significantly contributing to scalable enterprise-grade design systems.
• Strong understanding of technical constraints, system architecture, and front-end feasibility.
• Excellent storytelling, facilitation, workshop leadership, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Empathy for users and genuine commitment to empowering family caregivers.

• Experience in healthcare, health-tech, or complex multi-sided platforms.
