Marsh Risk Early Career Program, Full-Time 2027 – Brokerage – West Market (Insurance Brokerage)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or Seattle, with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients. The Marine, Cargo, and Logistics team in Seattle has a January 2027 start date; other roles are expected to start in July 2027.

Base salary: $75,000 in Seattle or $80,000 in San Francisco; standardized by location and non-negotiable.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives and Brokers to develop marketing plans, renewal strategies, and new business opportunities.
• Evaluate insurance quotes and compare coverage options for clients.
• Negotiate terms and coverage with underwriters and insurance markets.
• Build benchmarking reports and prepare presentations and renewal strategy documents.
• Develop relationships with clients, prospects, and global insurance markets.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues on high-level projects.

Requirements

• Graduation between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, economics, liberal arts, finance, risk management and insurance, or a related STEM or business field.
• Strong organizational, communication, relationship-building, and multitasking skills.
• Interest in and basic understanding of risk management and insurance.
• Ability to collaborate while taking ownership of individual responsibilities.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Green Card holder with ongoing U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
