Principal Technical Program Manager (Core Data)

Location: Remote, United States; listed location: San Francisco, United States.

Base salary: $169,569–$266,725 annually across geographic pay zones, with potential benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Translate business objectives and customer requirements into technical systems problems, priorities, and programs.
• Define program plans covering objectives, scope, forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Lead complex, cross-divisional initiatives across multiple engineering and business teams.
• Partner with engineers and architects to influence backend system design, architecture, and implementation.
• Manage risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and stakeholder agreements throughout the program lifecycle.
• Develop reliable and cost-effective disaster recovery solutions for hirify.global services.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of experience working with software teams, including 4+ years leading platform and software teams in a comparable technical program or product management role.
• Experience with S3, DynamoDB, SQL, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Kafka, and Flink.
• Experience designing, building, launching, and scaling backend software systems.
• Experience leading multi-team technical programs, managing risks and dependencies, and working with Agile development processes.
• Experience translating customer or product requirements into technical requirements and long-term roadmaps.
