Principal Program Manager (Migrations)

Location: Remote in the United States; listed locations include Menlo Park, California, Seattle, Washington, and Chicago, Illinois.

Salary: $184,000–$241,500 per year.

What you will do

• Lead customer migrations to Snowflake across assessment, planning, execution, optimization, and varied service engagements.
• Own migration service strategy, delivery quality, client satisfaction, relationship roadmaps, and operational communication.
• Manage complex migration projects, tracking status, risks, issues, objectives, metrics, and deliverables.
• Develop migration best practices, methodologies, training materials, configuration guidance, and process improvements.
• Support sales pursuits by scoping migration projects, estimating work, preparing delivery proposals, and providing project updates.
• Collaborate with customers, system integrators, technology vendors, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to resolve challenges and improve migration offerings.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in services delivery or a similar role managing complex technical implementation projects.
• Strong experience with data warehouse, database, or application migrations, including direct experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or cloud environments.
• Track record of delivering Professional Services revenue targets while prioritizing multiple complex migration projects.
• Ability to communicate migration strategies and concepts across design, engineering, marketing, advertising, business development, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong presentation skills for business and technical audiences, including senior executives at large enterprises.

Nice to have

• Experience in a client support or technical advisory role such as solution architect, system administrator, or technical account manager.
• Deep understanding of database technologies, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Experience with migration assessment tools and methodologies.
