Senior Professional Services DevOps Engineer (DevOps)

Location: Remote, United States

Base salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year, excluding discretionary bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Design, set up, and build customer CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms using hirify.global products and modern DevOps technologies.
• Implement software delivery pipelines with Docker, npm, Java, PyPI, binary repositories, distribution tools, and continuous build tooling.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Development, developers, and DevOps professionals to deliver customer outcomes.
• Train customers and the open-source community on hirify.global tools and DevOps practices.
• Influence hirify.global product features and roadmap based on customer needs.
• Build strong customer and community relationships while staying current with CI/CD and DevOps trends.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with continuous integration tools, including Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and npm.
• Experience building software delivery pipelines and working with binary repository management, binary scanning, and continuous integration.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and operations, including storage, networking, computing, security, public cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Experience with continuous deployment and delivery tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on Linux experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with software architecture design and product development.
• Experience with server-side software in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Open-source experience and a strong willingness to learn.
