Business Operations (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA office; regular travel throughout the United States, with 50%+ travel and on-site stays of 2–4 weeks

Annual US base salary: $150,000–$220,000 plus equity

A bank and software company building technology-forward banking solutions for fintechs, developers, and other financial technology companies.

What you will do

• Own strategy and operations for critical company scaling initiatives.
• Identify major bottlenecks to growth and design and ship products and workflows to remove them.
• Drive build-versus-buy decisions for tooling and systems that support automation and scale.
• Spend time on-site with operators to understand workflows and translate findings into product and operational decisions.
• Own execution end to end, including timelines, alignment, and accountability across teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in strategy and business operations in a high-growth environment.
• Ability to quickly solve problems and architect scalable solutions in new situations.
• Experience influencing stakeholders with competing priorities and aligning them around shared goals.
• Highly organized project management approach, with experience coordinating multiple teams and priorities.
• Hands-on, low-ego approach to building and improving a business.
• Interest in becoming an expert in banking and fintech; industry familiarity is preferred but not required.
