What you will do

• Own and maintain teleoperation systems used to collect data for robotic intelligence models.
• Triage and resolve tracking, retargeting, latency, and data-recording issues that block collection.
• Build monitoring and diagnostic tools to detect teleoperation failures before they affect collection.
• Evaluate and integrate VR headsets, glove and body trackers, retargeting methods, and other teleoperation hardware and software.
• Benchmark robot end-effectors for teleoperation performance and data quality.
• Work with ML, robotics, data operations, and data-collection operators to improve reliability and usability.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Experience developing or debugging software on real robots.
• Experience with teleoperation, VR/AR such as OpenXR or Unity, or motion-capture systems.
• Experience with video-streaming systems such as GStreamer and basic computer-vision principles.
• Familiarity with robot kinematics, inverse kinematics, motion retargeting, Linux, networking, and ROS/ROS2 or similar robotics middleware.

Nice to have

• Experience with dexterous hands, humanoids, or other high-DoF robots.
